Application form for appointment of "Horticulture Officers on regular basis" in the Department of Horticulture, Government of Andhra Pradesh, to be submitted on or before 01-10-2016 by 5:00 PM
Qualification:
- As per Rule-5 of Special Rules for A.P. Horticulture Services issued in G.O.Ms.No.776, Food & Agri. (Agri.II) Dept., dt.15-9-1989, a candidate must possess B.Sc. (Horticulture) or M.Sc.(Agriculture) with specialization in Horticulture of a recognized university in the State or any other university/institutions recognized by the University Grants Commission.
- In terms of the special rules amended by the Government vide G.O.Ms.No.355, Food & Agri. (Agri.II) Dept., dt.7-3-1992, first preference shall be given to the candidates who possess B.Sc. (Horticulture) qualification. However, the candidates with M.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialization in Horticulture will be considered only when B.Sc.(Horticulture) candidates are not available.
- Under the provisions of G.O.Ms.No.12, Agri. & Coop. (Horti.) Dept., dt.11-1-1996, in respect of SC/ST candidates, B.Sc. (Agriculture) qualification will be considered when B.Sc. (Horticulture) candidates are not available.
