Telangana TRANSCO 1100 Vacancies Recruitment Notification



The Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited (TSTRANSCO) with Headquarters at Hyderabad, caters to the transmission needs of the Telangana State with 2,696 C.km of 400 KV transmission lines, 6,907 C.km of 220 KV transmission lines and 10,398  C.km of  132 KV transmission lines. The Transmission network  also comprises of   11 Nos. 400 KV Substations, 72 Nos. 220 KV Substations and 214 Nos. 132 KV Substations. Further strengthening is in progress with 18 Nos. 400 KV Substations, 34 Nos. 220 KV Substations and 90 Nos. 132 KV Substations.

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must possess the qualifications from a recognized Institution / Board as detailed below or equivalent thereto, as specified in the relevant Rules of TSTRANSCO as on the date of Notification

JUNIOR LINEMAN
Must possess SSLC/SSC/10th Class with I.T.I. qualification in Electrical Trade/ Wireman or 2 years Intermediate Vocational course in Electrical Trade only from a recognized Institution/Board or Institutions registered during combined A.P. / Telangana State Education Department as on the date of notification

NOTE: If there is any deviation from the above qualification for the above post, the candidates shall produce the equivalency certificate from the authority issuing the qualification certificate viz Secretary of the institute / Board for accepting his/her application.

HOW TO UPLOAD THE APPLICATION FORM:



  1. The Applicants have to read the User Guide for Online Submission of Applications and then proceed further.
  2. Payment of Fee: The Applicant should pay the prescribed Fee as per the notification as detailed above and obtain Fee paid receipt with Journal Number (12 digit) in the first instance.
  3. Submission of Application: After payment of Fee, the Candidate has to visit the website http://tstransco.cgg.gov.in to view the detailed notification, User Guide and Application Form. The applicants have to provide payment details (journal number and date) and upload the scanned copy of passport size photograph with signature (see instructions for scanning and uploading photograph with signature) and then invariably fill all the relevant fields in the Application. Immediately on submission of application, applicant will get an acknowledgement in the form of a downloadable pdf document.

PROCEDURE FOR SELECTION:

Evaluation shall be done as follows: Total Marks = 100
Written Test Marks : 80 marks

Minimum qualifying marks in the Written Test as per rules :

OC : 40%
BC : 35%
SC/ST : 30%
PH : 30%

  1. Weightage Marks for in-service outsourced workers engaged on contract basis and who qualify in the Written Test : 20 marks (maximum) as indicated at item ‘C’.
  2. he eligible candidates will be called for Pole / Tower Climbing test in the ratio of 1:1 duly following Rule of Reservation and Spirit of Presidential Order.
  3. (NOTE: The candidates who qualify in the Pole / Tower Climbing test will only be eligible for appointment to the post of JLM)
  4. The in-service contract / outsourced workers working as on the date of Notification in TS Power Utilities and acquired minimum qualifying marks in the written examination only are entitled for the benefit of in-service weightage marks.
  5. In-service Weightage marks will be given to the contract / outsourced workers working in TS Power utilities in the following manner :
  6. 1 mark for every half year (i.e. 180 days)
  7. Any disruption or discontinuation of service for a continuous period of 180 days and above for whatever the reason as contract/ outsourced worker shall be considered, as if fresh commencement from the date of resumption after such discontinuation or disruption.
  8. Service less than six months will not be considered for weightage. A minimum of six months of continuous service as outsourced is necessary for considering weightage.
  9. The weightage marks shall be added to the marks secured in the written examination depending on the length of the service rendered by them in the power utilities.
  10. For computation of period of contract service, the date of joining on such service shall be reckoned and period of service shall be computed up to the date of Notification.
  11. The experience must be in the relevant job, for one to become entitled to be granted weightage marks. If a candidate put in service as a JLM. or in any other equivalent post, then alone he will be entitled to be awarded weightage marks for selection as JLM.
  12. There will be no interview.
  13. Candidate shall appear for Pole / Tower Climbing test as and when called for, at their own cost and TSTRANSCO is not responsible for any injuries caused during Pole / Tower Climbing test.
  14. The selection shall be finalized duly following Rule of Reservation and Spirit of Presidential Order.
  15. Provisional selection shall be made at first instance which shall be confirmed later. In the meanwhile, if any adverse information is received about the genuineness of documents/ certificates produced, the provisional selection shall be cancelled without notice to the candidate, but such intimation of rejection will be communicated.
  16. Medical Fitness certificate issued by the Assistant Civil Surgeon should be furnished at the time of joining.
