Period wise Subject wise Allotments as per GO MS No 3
- The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 enacted by the Parliament to provide for Free and Compulsory Education to all children of the age of 6 to 14 years vide reference 1st read above. Accordingly, the Andhra Pradesh Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules 2010 have been issued vide reference 2nd read above. The rules specify the number of working hours and days of schools have to function.
- In the reference 3rd read above, the Commissioner & Director of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad has furnished the following revised school timings and working hours, applicable to all schools under all managements in the State following State curriculum. He has requested the Government to issue orders for implementation of revised school timings and working hours as a part of implementation of RTE Act, 2009 in the State.
Period-wise allotment of time for Primary Schools
- School Prayer : 09.00 A.M to 09.15 A.M
- 1st Period : 09.15 A.M to 10.00 A.M
- 2nd Period : 10.00 A.M to 10.40 A.M
- Short Break : 10.40 A.M to 10.50 A.M
- 3rd Period : 10.50 A.M to 11.30 A.M
- 4th Period : 11.30 A.M to 12.10 P.M
- Lunch Break : 12.10 P.M to 01.10 P.M
- 5th Period : 01.10 P.M to 01.50 P.M
- 6th Period : 01.50 P.M to 02.30 P.M
