The UIDAI has made many facilities available, regarding one's Aadhar, using which you could easily update your details linked with the Aadhar. One of these options is the 'Verify Mobile Number and Email ID' tool, using which you could easily verify your Aadhar card contact details - provided a valid phone number is linked to your Aadhar and you are currently using the number.

1. You just need to visit the official UIDAI website (uidai.gov.in) in order to verify your contact details on your Aadhar card, in a few simple steps

3. Have a look over these simple steps, to successfully verify your Aadhar mobile number and email ID
4. Visit the official UIDAI website - uidai.gov.in. Check the tab of 'Aadhar services', under which you would find another option called 'Verify Mobile Number/Email ID
5. You will be required to enter your 12-digit Aadhar number, along with the email ID or phone number used at the time of Aadhar enrollment
6. Enter the security code displayed in the captcha, and click on 'Get One Time Password'.
7. An SMS, containing an OTP would be sent to the registered mobile number. The OTP needs to be entered in the space provided, in the right column, adjacent to the tab saying 'Enter OTP'
8. Click on 'Verify OTP'.

If Mobile number and Aadhaar link status got not matched, then you have to follow these steps to link up Mobile Number and Aadhaar

1. Visit the nearest Perminant Aadhaar Centre PAC to your home.
2. Get an Aadhaar Update/Correction Form from the Aadhaar Centre. You can also download this form from UIDAI website (https://uidai.gov.in/).
3. Fill the form and submit it to the concerned person at the Aadhaar Centre. Do remember to mention that you only want to get the mobile number updated.
4. To get your mobile number updated, you shall also need to take a photocopy of an identity proof like PAN Card or Passport.
5. After you do this, a biometricsverification will be done at the Aadhaar Centre.
6. Collect an acknowledgement slip from the enrolment centre. Your mobile number will then be linked to Aadhaar within the next 10 days.
