Telangana CPGET 2020 Details

Osmania University has released the notification regarding the Common PG Entrance Test (CPGET) for the replacement of seats in PG colleges in the state. The application process for these will start from today. Students are advised to apply online through the official website tscpget.com. Through this joint entrance examination, six traditional universities in the state namely Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Palamur, Satavahana, Mahatma Gandhi Universities offer MA, M.Com, M.Sc., PG Diploma, M.A., M.Sc. Together, they have been conducting joint entrance examinations since last year. This year also Osmania University will conduct the entrance test for the coming academic year (2020-21).

Important Dates for CPGET 2020

  1. Date of commencement of online registration & submission of applications : 18.09.2020
  2. Last date for submitting the online application : 19.10.2020
  3. Last date with a late fee of Rs.500/- : 26.10.2020
  4. Last date with a late fee of Rs.2000/- : 29.10.2020
  5. Commencement of Entrance Tests tentatively starts from : 31.10. 2020 to 09.11.2020

How to Pay Fee for  CPGET 2020 

  1. Click on the “Application Fee Payment” field as shown encircled below. A new page will appear on the screen.
  2. Fill in all the details in the respective field s and Click on the encircled button “Proceed to Payment”.
  3. Below Screen showing Application form to be filled for Candidates applied through CPGET Web Site.
  4. Fill in ALL the mandatory details given in the above web page. The details are Qualifying Exam, Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number, Candidate Name, , Date of Birth, Mobile Number, E mail ID and select the Payment Mode as shown in the screen
  5. Fill in ALL the mandatory details given in the above web page. The details are Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number, Candidate Name, , Date of Birth, Name of the Course, Mobile Number, Mobile Number Mentioned Above Is My and select the Payment Mode.
  6. After entering the correct and mandatory details the web page of Payment through Debit Card/Net Banking web page given below, select the card type (VISA or Master Card or Maestro) mentioned on the card and click the encircled button Make Payment. Be ready with the Card Related Details (Card number, Expiry date / from date, Security Code / CVV number etc). Payment gateway page is shown below for ref.
  7. After clicking the Proceed to Payment button, the following “Payment” web page will appear.

Examination Pattern of CPGET – 2020

  1. The entrance tests in all the subjects will be of 90 minutes duration the question paper consists of 100 objective (multiple choice only) type questions for 100 marks.
  2. The entrance test will consist of any 3 or 4 varieties of objective type items such as analogies, classification, matching, comprehension of a research study / experiment / theoretical point of view, etc., with multiple answers besides the usual multiple choice items. The items will be framed only from the syllabus of entrance test.
  3. Pattern of Entrance Test for Admission into M.Sc. Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Forensic Science, Genetics and Microbiology is as follows. Candidates have to appear for a common entrance test, namely BCESFSG&M comprising of Part-A (Chemistry for 40 Marks) and Part-B (One of the optional studied at B.Sc. level among the optional subjects: Physics, Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Microbiology and Biochemistry) for 60 Marks.
  4. Pattern of Entrance Test for Admissions into M.Sc.Bio-Technology comprising of Part-A (Chemistry for 40 marks) and part-B (Bio Technology for 60 Marks).
